Crewkerne Solar Array

CO2Sense partnered with Ethex to secure investment through a match-funding arrangement, supporting the financing of a 5MW solar array in Crewkerne in Somerset by Bath and West Community Energy (BWCE) and local community enterprise South Somerset Community Energy.

Despite recent years of below-average sunshine, the project has already made a significant impact, reducing CO₂ emissions by over 1,400 tonnes and generating electricity to meet the equivalent demand of 1,600 homes annually. 

CO2Sense is proud to be part of this project, which not only provides clean energy but also strengthens local community ownership and resilience.
