RESense completes sale of Worcester project

October 28th, 2015 | 8:25 am

After further development work we are pleased to announce that RESense, our joint venture project development company, has completed the sale of one of its shovel ready 500kW wind projects near Worcester. The scheme has the capacity to provide enough electricity to power 375 homes.

RESense was set up in 2012 by CO2Sense and Resolved Renewables, part of the ADAS Group of Companies. The company acts as a project developer and helps farmers and landowners capitalise on renewable energy opportunities by focusing on farm scale 500kW wind turbines. Each project allows the landowner the opportunity to receive a rental income based upon revenue generated by the turbine. Projects will also generate a community benefit fund.

After completing the sale in August, the buyer of the project will now progress with the build of the scheme, with it becoming operational by December 2015. The project was sold with grid connection, planning consent, property rights and all necessary environmental and site investigations complete. RESense also aided in the negotiation of the Turbine Supply Agreement with Emergya Wind Technologies (EWT).

Whilst CO2Sense are not currently funding the development of new sites to secure planning permission, we are keen to engage with developers to explore new areas for growth in the current climate. If you would like to discuss new opportunities with us, please contact Kulraj Heer on 0113 247 3848 or e-mail
