CO2Sense to present at ECO Fair 2015

June 8th, 2015 | 1:11 pm

CO2Sense is pleased to announce that Kulraj Heer of CO2Sense will be speaking on 18th June at Eco Fair 2015, Yorkshire’s biggest environmental event. Kulraj will present the business case for renewable energy. The one day event will bring together over 1000 delegates from across the environmental sector and will offer the opportunity to seek free expert advice, network with peers and attend a variety of seminars.

The renewable energy industry has grown significantly in recent years with increasing awareness of the environmental benefits. However, understanding the business case for such projects is crucial to increased deployment.

Drawing upon CO2Sense’s long experience of funding and developing renewable energy projects, Kulraj will explain the commercial benefits of renewables such as the Feed in Tariff and the cost savings for businesses.

Welcoming the opportunity to offer an investor’s insight into the business case for renewable energy, Kulraj commented:

“Our presentation will help those interested in renewables to understand why these projects make business sense. It will walk attendees though options for renewable energy, discuss different commercial arrangements for developing projects and provide some case study examples to show how businesses can benefit”.

CO2Sense are an experienced investor in renewable energy projects and cater to both private developers and community groups; offering development, bridging, acquisition and construction finance. To discuss funding needs for a project please contact Kulraj Heer on 0113 247 3848 or Alternatively, to arrange an informal meeting at Eco-fair, please contact Kulraj ahead of the event.

Notes to editor

• CO2Sense is a not-for-profit community interest company (CIC) which manages an ethical investment fund dedicated to renewable energy projects. Profits from our investments are recycled back into the fund to further invest in renewable energy projects or used to promote our community objectives.

• Finance is provided UK wide to both commercial developers and community energy groups for projects between 200kW and 5MW in scale. Technologies covered include wind, hydro, biomass CHP, solar and anaerobic digestion.

• CO2Sense funding fills a gap in the finance market for renewable energy by providing:

o Development finance to fund works required to reach planning consent

o Bridging loans to cover costs between planning permission and construction

o Acquisition loans to help acquire consented projects, or to help community groups to buy into shared ownership schemes.

o Short term construction finance
