CO2Sense to present at AD & Biogas 2015

June 15th, 2015 | 8:23 am

CO2Sense is pleased to announce that Kulraj Heer of CO2Sense, will be speaking on 2nd July at the UK AD & Biogas 2015 event, as part of a select panel considering the Avenues of Finance for Anaerobic Digestion. The 2 day event will bring together over 3000 visitors and a range of exhibitors from across the Anaerobic Digestion industry.

Securing finance continues to be a significant challenge for AD projects, made more difficult by continuing FiT degression and increasing competition for feedstock. Drawing upon CO2Sense’s long track record of investing in AD, Kulraj will provide advice on how to make projects attractive investment propositions, maximising opportunities to secure funding.

Welcoming the opportunity to offer an investor’s insight to the AD & Biogas community, Kulraj commented:

“The presentation will provide a brief overview of the key areas we, as a funder, assess to determine the attractiveness of an AD project. Such as technology risks, deliverability and the ability to withstand external changes”.

CO2Sense are an experienced investor in renewable energy projects and cater to both private developers and community groups; offering development, bridging acquisition and construction finance. To discuss funding needs for a project please contact Kulraj Heer on 0113 247 3848 or Alternatively, to arrange an informal meeting at AD & Biogas 2015, please contact Kulraj ahead of the event.

Notes to editor

• CO2Sense is a not-for-profit community interest company (CIC) which manages an ethical investment fund dedicated to renewable energy projects. Profits from our investments are recycled back into the fund to further invest in renewable energy projects or used to promote our community objectives.

• Finance is provided UK wide to both commercial developers and community energy groups for projects between 200kW and 5MW in scale. Technologies covered include wind, hydro, biomass CHP, solar and anaerobic digestion.

• CO2Sense funding fills a gap in the finance market for renewable energy by providing:

o Development finance to fund works required to reach planning consent

o Bridging loans to cover costs between planning permission and construction

o Acquisition loans to help acquire consented projects, or to help community groups to buy into shared ownership schemes.

o Short term construction finance
